ColdFraming and Season Extension Techniques by Kyla Dixon-Muir
Kyla Dixon-Muir has been in the garden every single week – including right through the winter - for many years. She grows foods, using organic practices, in a wide range of low-cost and no-cost ColdFrames, many of which do not require construction skills. Learn how to apply Season Extension Techniques to get as much as a two-month head-start on growing foods outdoors this spring; and learn how to design and build Cold Frames and Raised Beds, for your own garden. This talk will teach the beginner how incredibly easy it is to grow your own delicious sprouts in your kitchen. You do not need a lot of space, nor do they require a lot of attention. We all know that sprouts are good for our health, and an excellent source of nutrition, but are we sprouting? Patricia is Wigmore Certified, a Certified Rawfood Chef, and has been sprouting for many years.
